Light shapes the path. Shadows guide the way.
How to play
Turn the lantern with the dial to connect the shadows. The spirit walks on its own when the road reaches the next stone. Some levels also let you raise the light using the rail. Open Guide from the home screen for controls and hints.
When the path almost connects
A thin gap or a step that is too high can still stop the spirit. Adjust the lantern slightly, including its height when available. The spiral shows the path; the lotus shows a lantern setting. Explore freely before the crossing. For the steady-light blossom, let the lantern settle while the spirit walks.
Sound
Check Music and SFX separately in Settings and your device’s media volume/output. If sound stops after a call or another app, return to Umbra and tap a control. Include your device and OS version if the problem continues.
Saves and collections
iPhone and iPad progress can sync using the same Apple account with iCloud enabled. Allow connected devices time to sync. Browser progress stays in that browser. Local development playtest progress is separate and is not part of the App Store version.
A spirit has its own colors. An equipped trail can change its ink color. In the 3D viewer, the optional equipped-trail preview is separate from the spirit’s own colors. Select a fixed view to recenter and return to the fitted zoom.
Game Center
Open Settings → Game Center to sign in or view available scores and achievements. Availability depends on Apple’s services and your device/account settings.
