Privacy policy

Umbra is a light-and-shadow puzzle game by RYCX Games. This policy describes the game. The RYCX website has its own website privacy information.

Progress and settings

The game stores your completed levels, rewards, collection, equipped items and settings on your device. It does not create a RYCX player account or send these saves to a RYCX database.

iCloud

On iPhone and iPad, the game can synchronize progress through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage when iCloud is available for the app. Your Apple account and connection determine availability. You can play offline; devices reconcile progress when they reconnect. Reset Progress starts a new journey and that reset is synchronized to connected devices.

Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, the game submits completed-level counts, Daily Light streaks and achievements to Apple. Apple manages your Game Center identity, visibility and data under its own privacy policy. RYCX does not receive your Apple account credentials.

Photos and sharing

Photo mode creates an image of the game. Images are saved or shared only through your chosen device action. The game does not upload them to a RYCX service. Resetting progress does not delete photos you have saved or shared.

Advertising and analytics

Umbra contains no advertising SDK, advertising tracker or third-party analytics service. It does not request access to your contacts or location. Apple may process platform diagnostic and service data according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.

Control and deletion

Use Settings → Reset Progress to reset game progress and collection while keeping your settings. Clearing browser site data removes browser progress. Game Center records and photos are managed separately through Apple services and your photo library. App deletion and iCloud storage controls are managed by your device and Apple account.

Support

If you email support, RYCX receives your email and whatever information or attachments you choose to send, uses them to respond and troubleshoot, and retains them as needed to resolve the request. Do not send passwords or account credentials. Contact hello@rycx.games for privacy questions.
